AHS-20 Shade

One of the many dangers of the Cross Dimension is the numerous amounts of parasites and symbiotes that make their residence there. This parasite was first encountered on Faras III when a portal opened and a rapid response battalion of Praxian Infantry investigated. The parasite [a huge gelatinous blue wave] engulfed the entire battalion and managed to breach their armor. During the first stage of the infection the parasite breaches the armor and engulfs the wearer fusing the wearers Datafilm to their body and insinuating itself into every orifice and taking control of the brain and body functions turn the wearer into a brainless zombie, other parts of the infection cause the suit to be coated with the parasite as well and changing the appearance. During the second stage of infection the suit itself is fused with the wearer's body and becomes a physical part of the body as an Exo-skeleton. Other changes are the extension of fingers and toes that become claw-like and pulsing blue veins run-throughout the armor and two glowing spheres come into existence in the shoulder pads. The Stage 2 victims become more intelligent mainly due to the fact that they have now developed a hive mind. If a stage two infection form grapples someone successfully for three rounds a part of the armor sloughs off and tries to enter the closest orifice, if it manages to make it into an orifice the person is immediately paralyzed and undergoes a rapid transformation to a Stage 2 infection within twenty-four hours and weather they were wearing armor or not a parasite cocoon surrounds the victim and then hatches open after the 24-hour period loosing a new Stage 2 Parasite. After the initial take over of the battalion the parasite managed to infect and take-over the entire population of the planet within 96 hours.

The inner Thermo-Gel layer helps keep the wearer at a moderate temperate and is good up to 300 degrees Celsius and down to -125 degrees Celsius. This layer also helps to scrub excess CO2 from the suit and recycle it into oxygen; this helps to extend the air supply of the suit to approximately 120 hours. If the wearer is in a semi-oxygenated area or better the suit’s seals can be cracked and supply can be extended to 180 hours.

Plumbing

The suit can recycle most waste excreted by the wearer into potable water and an extremely bland tasting gruel; although the intrinsic value of the gruel becomes less and less with each recycling as the suit only carries a limited supply of the necessary daily vitamins and minerals [approximately three days].

External Speakers, Microphone, & Combat Camera

The Suit Has Two External Speakers Built Into The Sides Of The Helmet Capable Of Projecting Sound Out To 125 Meters.

The suit also has a removable combat camera that stores data on an internal 10 Memory Unit cube and can be directly plugged into a computer and if the internal memory becomes full starts downloading the oldest data to the removable hard drive, likewise there are external microphones in the helmet of the armor that are able to pick up the slightest noise in a 50 meter radius.

The Stage 1 has a -2 to initiative but has an additional +2 to strength, and a -2 to hit.

Stage 2 Capabilities

The Stage 2 has a +2 to initiative for every five suits in combat but has an additional +4 to strength, and a +2 to hit.

Powercell

The Suit Uses A Miniature HBT Generator That Runs Off of six Miniature HBT Cell And Has A Standard Endurance Rate Of 125 Hours, The HBT Cell Is Slid Into The Back Of The Suits Torso Armor.

Morphable Cannon Arm

[1] – On the right arm of the suit is a large cannon that can be morphed into several different forms.

Plasma Cannon - the plasma cannon fires three times per round doing 4d10 damage and also acts as a medium for the parasitic infection.
