Alex Zeta Smith [A.K.A. – Techie, A.K.A. – TTU-42-52-76]
Alex Zeta Smith was an electrical engineering technician on the planet of Farthing in the independent system’s league when he was offered a job on a Aries-Class space station in the Theban Cluster. Unfortunately for Alex and his fellow passengers the ship they were on had a malfunction in its hyper-space drive and dropped out of hyperspace early and smack dab in the middle of a Tantalan controlled solar system and since the ship hadn’t called ahead the entire crew and ships passengers were assimilated by the Tantalans.
Alex became a Tantalan Technician Unit and was assigned to an orbital defense platform in one of the Tantalans most recently conquered [I.E. assimilated systems].
It was in this system that Alex was working that a vessel of unknown origin appeared and teleported the entire platforms compliment of Tantalans off of it and into stasis pod.
Alex awoke to the first time of clarity since being assimilated several years earlier trapped inside of a stasis pod with a voice telling him that the ship he was aboard had been damaged and that his pod was to be ejected.
